Dec 7, 202115:27Now PlayingIn Columbus, Ohio, former sheriff’s deputy Jason Meade, has been indicted on charges in connection with the shooting death of Casey Goodson Jr., a 23-year-old Black man.
The incident happened last December during a fugitive search that had nothing to do with Goodson.
Meade claims Goodson pointed a gun at him before he opened fired, but Goodson’s family says he was shot in the doorway of his grandmother’s house after returning with sandwiches for the entire family.
Tamala Payne, Goodson’s mother and family attorney Sean Walton join Yodit Tewolde on “Making the Case” to discuss the case.
