Rich Woman Driving a Maserati Steals Repeatedly from Target

Around 7:34 PM on November 9, 2025, Officer Shane Hosler with the Middletown Township Police Department responded to a report of a female shoplifter at the Target on 2105 Route 35. He walked over to the loss prevention office and made contact with the alleged shoplifter, who was identified as Ellada Avadeyeva. The loss prevention employees informed the officers that the woman had attempted to exit the store with Ulta cosmetics that she did not pay for.

This was the second time within the same week that she had allegedly stolen from the store. On November 4, 2025, surveillance footage showed Ellada stealing an earring by directly wearing it while hiding concealer on her person. The value of those was estimated to be $39.99, according to the complaint summons. On November 9th, Ellada allegedly concealed $121.86 worth of items by placing them inside a bag and attempting to leave the store without paying for them. Based on their surveillance footage and the store’s decision to press charges, Ellada was placed under arrest for shoplifting.

Ellada she was handcuffed and placed inside the patrol car. When the officers asked her where her car was located so that they could place her other belongings inside, she informed them that she arrived in a Maserati. Officer Hosler transported her to the Middletown Township Police Department for further processing. She was charged with shoplifting under 2C:20-11B(1) and released pending her court appearance.

Court records indicate that on December 15, 2025, her shoplifting charge was downgraded to Unnecessary Noises (Ordinance 341-4) as part of a plea agreement. She also had to pay a total of $533 in fines as part of her guilty plea.

In addition to having a Maserati, real estate records indicate that her personal residence is estimated to be worth approximately $1 million. Ellada also paid $14,608 in property taxes for the 2025 calendar year.
