Graphic Designer Blows 4 TIMES THE LIMIT After SECOND DWI Arrest

Around 9:16 PM on April 10, 2026, Patrolman Andrew White with the Little Silver Police Department observed a back 2019 Lexus being driven at an excessive rate of speed on Prospect Avenue. He activated his emergency lights and initiated a traffic stop. After the driver pulled over, he made contact with the driver, who was identified as Yajaira Borrero. As he was speaking with her, he observed indicators of impairment.

Patrolman Christopher Gilmore was then called to the scene to assist with field sobriety exercises. She told the officers that she had consumed wine at Baseline Social in Oceanport, New Jersey earlier that evening. Based on their suspicion of impairment, Yajaira was asked to perform field sobriety exercises. Her poor performance on the field sobriety exercises confirmed the officers’ suspicion of impairment.

Based on her erratic driving, her admission to consuming alcohol earlier that evening, and her inability to satisfactorily complete the field sobriety exercises, Yajaira was placed under arrest for DWI. Her sister was transported to the Little Silver Police Department to wait for Yajaira. The vehicle was impounded for a 12-hour hold according to John’s Law. Patrolman White initially transported Yajaira to the Fair Haven Police Department for the administration of the breathalyzer.

At the Fair Haven Police Department, the Standard Statement for Motor Vehicle Operators was read to her, and she agreed to submit breath samples. Her Alcotest results indicated a BAC level of 0.316%, which was about 4 times the legal limit of 0.08%. After they finished processing Yajaira, she was transported to the Little Silver Police Department for further processing. After the officers finished processing her, Yajaira was released her sister Marisol Zingrone pending her court appearance after she signed the Potential Liability Warning on Yajaira’s behalf.

Patrolman White issued Yajaira the following traffic tickets:

-Operating under the influence (39:4-50)

-Reckless driving (39:4-96)

-Careless driving (39:4-97)

-Speeding (39:4-98.19)

-Traffic on marked lanes (39:4-88)

-Failure to observe traffic control device (39:4-81)

As of July 2, 2026, Yajaira’s case is still pending in court. Yajaira has previously been arrested for operating under the influence in Middletown Township, New Jersey on March 21, 2018.
