21:20Now PlayingAngela Calloway was visiting a prisoner, who had tried to smuggle tobacco into a prior prison. Upon entry, the guard that did the initial patdown observed Calloway acting nervously. This guard informed a second guard, who observe Calloway during the visit with the inmate.
During the visit, the Calloway touched her clothes in ways the guard though was preparing to slip the prisoner drugs.
As a result, the guard ask Calloway to consent to a strip search. The guards said that if she didn't consent, she wouldn't be allowed to visit again.
In today's legal analysis, we discuss this strip search, whether the guards acted properly, and whether this somewhat extensive strip search was ok.
