US v Miller (1939) is a foundational 2nd amendment case, and before Heller and McDonald came along 70 years later, was the law of the land when it came to gun rights. I also think it is one of the most confusing cases to read or understand. So, we are going back and to read and try to figure out what the Supreme Court was trying to say.
