0:53Now PlayingRep. Karen Bass, D-Calif., argued that Ukraine’s newly elected president was “being held hostage” by the Trump administration, which was withholding military aid. Bass spoke in response to a GOP amendment to the articles of impeachment that would have indicated Trump released the aid after Ukraine approved anti-corruption reforms. Bass said the aid was actually released when Trump’s misconduct was made public. The House Judiciary Committee on Dec. 12 considered revisions to the articles of impeachment and voted on whether to send those articles to the full U.S. House of Representatives. Democrats on Tuesday filed two articles of impeachment against Trump -- abuse of power and obstruction of Congress.
