Ed Gordon Ambushes Omarosa With Trump Questions at NABJ Conference (REACTION)

Ed Gordon took it upon himself to grill Omarosa over her affiliation with Donald Trump at the 2017 NABJ Conference which took place in New Orleans, Louisiana. Omarosa, the White House's Director of Communications for the Office of Public Liaison, was invited to the event put on by the National Association of Black Journalists. Her stated purpose in being there was to be part of a panel that were going to discuss violence that has hit their respective families. She wanted to speak about those issues and not much else, but of course the all-black (and mostly liberal) crowd and panel wanted to talk about nothing else other than Trump. It became testy to the point where Ed Gordon left from behind his podium and essentially approached Omarosa in an aggressive fashion to express his disdain for her. At this point, all decorum and peace (the little that was in the room) was gone.

During Omarosa’s talk, certain members of the audience stood up and turned their backs. People in the crowd were snickering. Very disrespectful and rude. Unfortunately, this type of behavior is synonymous with black-centric functions. So much so that other groups of people do not want blacks at their events because of fear of behavior like what was shown at NABJ. Roland Martin at one point emerged from the crowed when Gordon and Omarosa got into their spat to try and cool things down. In an interview afterwards, he said that Omarosa was not there to talk about their story, even though Omarosa said she was invited to the panel she was on (who were talking about that) to do just that. Very strange event but something very common to most people in the black community. Groupthink and wrongthink rule the day.
