9:47Now PlayingSo far, Supreme Court Justice nominee Brett Kavanaugh’s Senate Confirmation Hearing has been a complete and utter circus. During the time just before the hearing was to begin, efforts were made by Linda Sarsour and also the Women’s March to disrupt. Several people had to be taken out by police and were arrested. The Democratic Party, according to the Democrat from Illinois Dick Durbin, got on a conference call last night with quite a few prominent members to discuss ways to disrupt the hearing. Calls for more time and delays were made because they wanted more time to review documents about Kavanaugh that allegedly arrived just last night.
Corey Booker and Kamala Harris did their usual routine of being trotted out every time an event like this happens. It appears as if they want the chance at television camera time so they can be caught saying something “profound” and “brave” against the Republican Party in an attempt to rally the Democratic base. Unfortunately for them, most people don’t know who either of these people are even after what appears to be a sizable marketing campaign behind them.
A dramatic, black and white picture of Kavanaugh surfaced that shows him looking at Fred Guttenberg, the father of a Parkland shooting victim. The caption reads something along the lines of … Kavanaugh refuses to shake the hand of Parkland shooting victim. Although nobody can truly understand what’s happening in that picture because it was loud and crowded in the room. Maybe Kavanaugh could not hear him and did not know who he was.
And the elephant in the room in this situation would be, how did the man get so close to Kavanaugh? Is he part of the Senate?
All of the outrage behind that particular situation and the hearing process in general is manufactured due to the Democrats wanting to litigate the 2016 election results. They also want to prevent Trump from changing the face of the Supreme Court which will have a direct impact on the direction of our nation for many years to come. Try as they might, their efforts will ultimately be in vain as more people will be turned off by their methods.
