16:19Now PlayingThe New York Times on Wednesday published an anonymous op-ed attributed to a senior Trump administration official who writes that there is a group of officials working within the administration for the express purpose of thwarting what the author said are dangerous tendencies on the part of the president.
Popular theory floating around social media pegs Mike Pence as the "anonymous senior official", but he has since denied any such allegations. Many other individuals in the White House have also denied being the anonymous person. It could, quite frankly, be a member of the New York Times staff or a random person off the street, although NYT says they have a strict vetting process and have confirmed the person's identity.
