YouTube Description

as posted by the channel

As of Monday, January 7th, 2019, the Government Shutdown enters its 17th consecutive day. The main issue preventing the shutdown from coming to a conclusion is border security/wall. Democrats want to give around $1.6 billion for border security without a wall while Trump and most of the GOP want $5 billion for the wall and security aside from the wall.

Since there is an impasse, parts of the Government will not be funded due to the wall funding being part of the overall Government funding bill. Things that many Americans deem as essential will be affected such as Food Stamps and also pay for some employees of the federal government. Trump has vowed to keep the Government shut down for as long possible.
