I found a 6 minute video on "the Science of Racism" the other day and chose to respond with a 60 minute explanation of why that's a ridiculous thing to even attempt. I really dislike this kind of "IFL" science fetishism being promulgated by people who almost certainly haven't read the things they're citing. Not only is is kind of insulting, it's more importantly potentially harmful to treat data as a political tool without providing full context, particularly when it concerns medicine and psychiatric health. Thus, here I respond to all of the claims in that video as well as address some common pieces of evidence that are used to identify natural human group behavior as potentially problematic. Also, I prove you're all racist with science. /dab
