5:37Now PlayingThe COVID-19 pandemic has shown a light on so many issues Americans are faced with, and one of the biggest being our healthcare system.
But is the government stepping in to the point of paying for our healthcare the best solution? We wanted to know the answer during this Millennial Minute.
Our host Julia Sun moderates a debate between Nate Lerner, Executive Director of Build The Wave, and Erin Elmore, Turning Point USA, concerning this very heated topic.
Elmore believes that healthcare should stay in the private sector, as putting it in the hands of the government would create a system that is, frankly, less efficient, bloated, and overpriced.
Lerner is saying otherwise. He believes that a continuation of our healthcare will only mean more of the same where profits are put before people, and healthcare costs will remain the number one cause of bankruptcy.
