Employers are eager to pay a premium to attract business school graduates, especially in this tight labor market. Why are these graduates, in particular, being sought after by employers?
When compared to other graduate degrees, the MBA pays off in the job market, with the median wage for this year's graduates rising to $155,000, according to the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and the University of Chicago's Booth School of Business. Many of these corporations, like Goldman Sachs and J.P. Morgan Chase & Co., report rising profits.
It's just a more competitive market, making this an excellent time to hunt for work.
What impact do you believe this will have on other job markets? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
