So much of our daily lives can now be done digitally: socializing, banking, and shopping, for example. But what about healthcare? Your medical treatment could be the next thing to make its way into the metaverse.
CVS pharmacy has filed a patent to offer health goods and services in the metaverse, including "non-emergency medical treatment services, wellness programs, nutrition advisory services, and health, lifestyle, and nutrition counseling," according to Health Financial News.
What if, on the other hand, you had an emergency and needed to see a doctor straight away? In the metaverse, virtual hospitals will also be available. Lattice Healthcare, according to Forbes, is constructing a virtual hospital that will be completed in 12 to 18 months.
Computer vision will be utilized to address body concerns such as joint pain and design a plan to assist your body in healing. Despite the fact that many things are moving to the digital realm, some medical treatments, such as surgery and dialysis, will always have to be conducted in person.
