Shiba's future has been called into question for two reasons.
The first is that Ryoshi, the company's founder, abruptly resigned and removed all of his tweets and blog entries. We still don't know why Ryoshi left, but the abruptness made many people nervous about Shiba's prospects.
The second reason is that Shiba Inu coin just formed its own stablecoin, SHI, in order to benefit from the burn process and maintain its value.
Unfortunately, stablecoins have recently taken a significant knock. Stablecoins are designed to link the decentralized crypto's freedom to the fiat currency's stability. And LUNA, the Terra Blockchain's native token, is an essential component of the system that brings them together.
However, just as Shiba Inu began the stable coin process, LUNA experienced a historic crash, scaring away investors once more. However, this is not the end for Shiba Inu coin.
Many feel it has the potential to help the bear crypto market recover, and it has produced some of the strongest gains of any coin since March 2020.
