So Twitter is suing Elon Musk for backing out of his agreement to buy the company?

Additionally, several media sources claim that Twitter has a greater position to push this agreement through. However, this might be just another instance of Musk using his cunning to outwit a company in order to acquire them for a substantially lower price.

But first, let's review everything we covered. On April 25, Musk agreed to buy Twitter for $44 billion, a significant premium over the company's current value.

But as the weeks passed, Musk started to lose interest in the partnership, and now he's ending it because he thinks Twitter isn't giving him accurate information about how many fake accounts exist on this platform

Twitter's has chosen to sue Elon Musk in an effort to persuade him to buy the firm, but it may not be the best course of action.

You are required to take part in discovery soon after filing a case of this kind. During the discovery process, the parties have to exchange non-privileged material that is pertinent to the case's issue.

In other words, Musk will have the right to ask for and probably get the data that Twitter has on the fake accounts that are present on its network.

Additionally, if it turns out that Twitter has a significant number of bogus accounts, as claimed by Musk and others, Twitter may be held accountable for materially misrepresenting its business. This would expose the business to significant shareholder securities class action lawsuits.

Musk will then be in control because he can either completely back out of the agreement and watch Twitter, a company he has repeatedly criticized for its censorship policies, crumble, or he can renegotiate with the board and purchase arguably the most influential social media company in the world at a significant discount.

Don't forget that, just a few months ago, Musk tweeted that he was seeking to employ "hardcore street fighter lawyers." Could this possibly be why? Let us know in the comments below.
