Millennials with a college degree make the same as boomers with no degree earned in 1989. And millennials make an average of $10,000 less than boomers did at the same age and everything is much more expensive.
The average price of a house was $150,000 in 1989 and it's now 350 k.
$20,000 of college tuition in 1977 would cost $309,000 in 2022.
Average healthcare spending is up from $1800 a year in 1970 to over $12,000 a year in 2020.
So the answer is yes, millennials have it much worse financially.
