Is This The End For China ?

Is this the end for China? China's economic growth has stalled, its real estate sector is collapsing, its manufacturing industry has been decimated by the totalitarian COVID lockdowns, it's facing energy and food shortages, it's aging faster than any other country in human history, and its population of 1.4 billion people is projected to be cut in half in the coming decades due to its former one-child policy.

But now things have gone even worse with a communist nation, thanks to the Biden administration. The US has just announced it is imposing new restrictions barring the sale of advanced computer chips, or semiconductors, to China. And this is a huge deal. These high-end computer chips are essential components for things like Artificial Intelligence, quantum computing, hypersonic missiles, and basically every advanced technology that China is trying to take over from the United States.

China simply cannot defeat the US or achieve supremacy over the United States. Without these advanced computer chips, which are designed and manufactured by the US and its allies. China has proven to be incapable of producing semiconductors of comparable quality itself, so it really is screwed.

While it certainly is true that China will be an important player on the world stage for the next several years to come, given these insurmountable problems it's facing, it's safe to say that China is not a superpower in the making. It is a dying wannabe Empire whose best years are behind it.
