YouTube Description
as posted by the channelExtract from AfriForum press briefing on the Expropriation Bill in South Africa. October 2022.
I reference three important books about economics:
Henry Hazlitt's Economics in One Lesson, Walter Scheidel's The Great Leveler, and
Thomas Sowell's The Economics and Politics of Race.
The point is that responsible economic policy is actually quite simple, even though economics can become complicated, that attempts at fixing inequality through government policies have never worked; and that people don't become affluent through politics, only through hard work, skills development and savings.
