as posted by the channelProsecutors began closing arguments Monday in the murder trial of gas station owner Rick Chow, who is accused of fatally shooting 14-year-old Cyrus Carmack-Belton. The state argued that Chow could have reviewed security footage to determine whether the teen had actually stolen water bottles on May 28, 2023, instead of confronting him. Prosecutors also contended that Carmack-Belton would still be alive if Chow and his son had left him alone.
