On a 5-3 vote Tuesday, March 12, the Senate Judiciary Committee approved SF 925, sponsored by Sen. Scott Dibble, DFL-Mpls., and sent the bill to the Senate floor. The often-approved procedural motion to accept the Senate Judiciary's action turned into an extended debate Wednesday, March 13.
