45:54Now PlayingMinnesota Management and Budget Commissioner Myron Frans delivered good news Thursday, December 6, when he announced that Minnesota's budget will have a positive balance of $1.544 billion dollars for the 2020-2021 biennium.
Frans attributed the surplus to increasing revenues and decreasing expenditures. "Other good news is that we are increasing the budget reserve total today to a new state milestone of a little over $2 billion dollars," he added.
