The health provider tax that funds the account is set to expire at the end of 2019. Senator Tony Lourey, the ranking DFL member of the Health and Human Services Committee, joins Capitol Report moderator Shannon Loehrke to review the implications on health care programs when $700 million dollars per year in tax revenue is no longer imposed on health care consumers.
