The health provider tax that funds the account is set to expire at the end of 2019. Senator Michelle Benson, chair of the Health and Human Services Committee, joins Capitol Report moderator Shannon Loehrke to review the challenges facing health care policymakers when $700 million dollars per year in tax revenue is no longer imposed on health care consumers to fund the current health care efforts.
