Question: My developer has agreed to refund me the part-payment I had made for an under-construction house. However, he is now asking for the original agreement which I have submitted at the bank while availing loan. What shall I do?

Answer: You can get back the agreement because you are not going to avail the loan. If you cancel your loan then the bank will have return your document. All you need to do is to terminate the agreement and show it to the bank that it has been nullified.
