as posted by the channelIn Bengaluru, over hundred cab drivers held a protest against taxi aggregators such as Ola and Uber for leasing vehicles and detaching the present drivers.
Drivers are also demanding an increase in incentives and reduction in working hours. The drivers’ union are now planning to stay off the roads until the government implements the taxi aggregators rules that was introduced last year which state that commissions charged by app-based taxi services to drivers be fixed at 10%. The drives have already submitted memorandum to the transport department.
