Question: With a budget of Rs. 35 lakh- Rs. 40 lakh, I want to invest in an apartment either in Delhi-NCR or Hyderabad. Which is a better choice, please guide.
Answer: If you look at Delhi-NCR, there are places where in your budget you will be able to get roughly 900-1100 per sq. ft. apartment and you can get rental returns around Rs.9000- Rs.1100 per month . Whereas in Hyderabad, there are places where within your budget you can get 1100-1600 per sq. ft. apartments and you can expect rental returns of Rs.10,000 to Rs.17,000 depending upon the area you look for which is slightly more than what you will get in Delhi-NCR. Personally as an investor, I would suggest you to choose Hyderabad because it’s poised for growth and also has sound fundamentals.
