4:55Now PlayingWhile the Maharashtra government has approved operations of industries to resume in the state, packaging industry owners are facing a tough time to produce output. Due to the migration of labour from the state, industries are facing staff crunch to resume work. Due to the shortage of labour, not more than 6000 packaging industries have been able to resume work. They are not able to find drivers to be able to transport raw material to the industry as most of them have headed back home. The total output from the packaging industry has fallen down by 80 per cent. Industry demands better financial relief from the government. The loans announced for the MSME sector may give temporary relief. More than ten lakhs workers have moved out of the state, according to state government official records
