6:45Now PlayingThe Supreme Court has issued a new order regarding the stranded migrants in India mandating that all of them must be sent home in 15 days. The court has taken cognizance of the migrants plight and has asked all police complaints to be withdrawn against the workers. It has further asked migrants to be identified through a registered process and be sent back to their native home. The court has set a clear deadline for all state governments to make the necessary arrangements to secure their safe transit. Shocking visuals have been emerging across the country of migrants walking or cycling thousands of kilometers amid the COVID-19 pandemic lockdown announcement. Migrants had been charged by local authorities on grounds of violating the lockdown norms set by the government to contain the spread of the Coronavirus.
