There have been 7,000 cases reported in the last 5 days and the Supreme Court has issued a notice seeking Delhi government's response to the inadequate health facilities provided to the people.
Mirror Now did a ground check and witnessed shocking violations in the areas which were supposed to be strictly monitored. Jhangirpuri district in Delhi is one of the worst-hit areas in Delhi.
The country has been seeing a thousand cases every day and the testing rate has decreased.
COVID-19 exposed the faulty healthcare system in the country and both State and Central governments should act together during this time. Delhi cannot fight COVID alone and the Centre should come forward and help, says senior journalist Javed Mansari.
