There is very little adherence to the guidelines issued by the Ministry of Home Affairs and the hospital is not giving due care and concerns to the dead bodies. The patient's families are not even informed about the deaths that take place and are not able to attend the last rites of the patient. Supreme Court is seeking further explanations from the Delhi government. Maharashtra, West Bengal, Tamil Nadu have also been sent a notice for their controversial treatment of COVID-19 patients and dead bodies.
