Residents of the Saurashtra region that have been struggling because heavy rains have continued to lash the area non-stop for the past 3 days now. The water of the Ranjit Sagar Dam is overflowing and several low-lying areas have also been flooded in the city of Jamnagar as well. NDRF conducts rescue operations in Jamnagar. Several residents have also been relocated in Jamnagar. Fishermen have also been advised not to venture into the sea. According to the India Meteorological Department, rains to reduce by July 9th.
