3:27Now PlayingThe Bengaluru Coronavirus crisis only seems to be getting worse day by day. The city has recorded over 9000 COVID-19 cases only within a week. The State Government has stated that only critical asymptomatic cases should be admitted in the care centres. 70% of COVID-19 cases in Bengaluru are asymptomatic.
The total number of bed allocated for COVID-19 asymptomatic patients is 2624 out of which 2165 and now only 459 are available at this point.
Chief Minister BS Yeddyurappa said he said the Centre was in constant touch with the state government on the issue. ‘The centre is more than happy to extend any help further if Karnataka requires so’.
