8:13Now PlayingWhile the recovery rate of Mumbai is improving, MMR regions are becoming a new concern for Coronavirus in the State of Maharashtra. In Thane, the lockdown has been extended in 27 major hotspots till the 31st of July in 27. However, despite the lockdown, people were seen moving around freely.
Thane has recorded over 15000 Coronavirus cases. The district is unable to curb the COVID-19 curve for many challenges, one being the health infrastructure. There are no COVID-19 test labs, hence for testing; the patients have to travel till Mumbai. Complaints of shortages of beds and ambulances have also been reported from here.
