The Indian partners in the Oxford University who led the vaccine trials are now planning to apply for the license to start the clinical trials in the country soon. The Serum Institute of India has been chosen by Oxford to further manufacture the vaccine once it gets ready.
While the country is battling the Coronavirus pandemic, The State of Assam is facing a bundle of crisis. The annual floods have wreaked havoc in the State affecting over 50000 lives. 12 NDRF teams are deployed in 12 districts and the rescue operation is currently underway.
