Sources claim Panneerselvam had agreed to back away from CM candidature provided an 11 member Steering Committee to run the party is formed. Last minutes talks are on to sort certain issues, predominantly about the creation of the 11 member Steering Committee.
As per sources, 6 members from EPS faction and 5 members from OPS faction could be part of the Committee and talks are allegedly still on over what powers they might constitute.
