2:39Now PlayingNews of medical negligence comes to light from the city of Mumbai. A COVID-19 patient was found dead in a hospital, fourteen-day after him being missing. The patient is suspected to have collapsed due to breathlessness. The hospital found the dead body fourteen-day later when a ward boy complained of a foul smell coming in from restroom.
Following this apathy, the Mumbai Civic Body has ordered a high-level inquiry. A seven-member committee is also formed to probe the matter in depth. The committee has issued notice to at least 40 staffers and is likely to submit the final report in a week.
