YouTube Description
as posted by the channelIn Assam’s Cachar district, covid warriors are showing exceptional acts of kindness. Driven to save lives amid this pandemic, a samaritan was witnessed fighting all barriers to make sure a covid patient reaches the hospital on time. An ambulance driver took to himself to carry the patient when the family refused to take him till the ambulance arrives. Unable to manoeuvre an ambulance, the driver used a cycle to ensure on-time medical assistance for the patient. According to reports, poor conditions of roads and infrastructure forced the ambulance driver, Burhan Uddin, to switch to a bicycle. He had to abandon the ambulance and carry the patient with oxygen supply to the hospital when the family members had refused to find an alternative and decided to wait for the ambulance.
