2:21Now PlayingThe Delhi High Court on Friday asked the government's response to a petition demanding a CBI investigation into the death of 21 Covid patients at the Jaipur Golden Hospital in April, purportedly owing to a lack of oxygen. Justice Rekha Palli has given a notice to the Union ministries of home and health, as well as the Delhi government, requesting a response by August 20 on the petition brought by the families of some of the patients who died between April 23 and 24. The petition, filed by counsel Utsav Bains, claims that the patients died of respiratory failure owing to low oxygen delivery, not comorbidities, as claimed by a Delhi government committee in its report.
