Suhas Prabhu, Head of Maharashtra Covid Pediatrics Taskforce says there is no evidence that the third wave may or may not impact the children, young citizens. He further says, following proper covid norms and prevention of the protocols is the need of the hour. He also said that the government was not prepared for the second wave. If the third wave comes the children might get affected as they are not affected before since schools are closed and parents are overprotective. He called the coronavirus tricky as there is a possibility that a new strain might show up and can affect the children.
