4:15Now PlayingAccording to government data, India reported a little more than 26,000 occurrences of Adverse Events Following Immunization (AEFI) and 488 deaths connected to post-vaccination problems between January 16 and June 7. To put things in perspective, throughout this time span, 23.5 crore dosages were provided. This suggests that the 26,200 AEFI instances accounted for less than 0.01 percent of the total doses given. In other words, one out of every 10,000 patients who were vaccinated against COVID-19 experienced complications after getting the vaccine over the course of 143 days. Two out of every ten lakh persons who were immunized died.
