Sep 17, 202114:03Now PlayingIn the wee hours of the morning, a section of an under-construction flyover in Mumbai's Bandra Kurla Complex fell, injuring fourteen people. The flyover is being built on the Santacruz-Chembur Connection Road (SCLR) to alleviate traffic congestion on the east-west link as well as to decongest the BKC sector, one of Mumbai's busiest commercial areas. Personnel from the city police and fire departments are on the scene. Around 4:30 a.m., a section of the flyover linking BKC main road and Santa Cruz–Chembur Link Road fell. 14 individuals were injured and taken to the hospital with minor injuries. There has been no loss of life, and no one has gone missing.
