The journalists were stripped inside a police station and one of them was later tied to a bed. They were also threatened by the cops of the state. Meanwhile, this has gathered immense condemnation from all across the country and the chorus for action by the Home Ministry has intensified. The Human Rights Commission has acted on this as well and has sought strict action against the accused policemen. Editors Guild too has expressed their concerns over the entire incident.
