Feb 2, 20232:07Now PlayingAccording to the latest update on Mirror Now, Pakistan's revised Circular Debt Management Plan has been rejected by the International Monetary Fund (IMF) (CDMP). The World Bank has urged Pakistan's government to raise electricity tariffs to PKR 11-12.50 per unit in order to cap the additional subsidy at PKR 335 billion for the current fiscal year. The increase in electricity rates, according to a report, is intended to reduce losses in the cash-strapped power industry.
