Early Career Explorers expanded their knowledge of ocean exploration through bridge navigation, seafloor mapping, microscopy, and photogrammetry while also learning ocean storytelling techniques and building their professional networks. Meanwhile, the Hackathon cohort built prototypes to turn ocean science into compelling interactive experiences.
These transits are part of OceanX Education's quest to transform how people learn about our ocean and forge strong collaborations around the world.
Next stop is Cabo Verde where we'll map and study the life around a pair of seamounts.
