Each morning, a CTD (Conductivity, Temperature, Depth) collected water samples across the water column. Evenings brought bongo net tows to study plankton. Our submersible Nadir documented life around the seamount, while the remotely operated vehicle Neptune collected coral, sediment, and water samples from the seafloor.
In partnership with BRIN, Indonesia’s national research and innovation agency, 16 scientists worked to better understand biodiversity in the Sulawesi Sea.
