The White House is renewing its efforts to remove Lisa Cook from the Federal Reserve's Board of Governors.
The job market numbers for July have been released, showing a loss of 23,000 jobs, which could indicate a slowdown ahead. Black unemployment rates continue to reflect a persistent gap compared to other racial groups. Economist Morgan Harper will join us to break down the numbers.
