In fact, many will bend over backwards to maintain Israel’s goddess and righteousness even when the IDF commits international war crimes against civilians, medical personnel and journalists.We spoke with Simone Zimmerman of IfNotNow, a group of American Jews organizing to end U.S. support for Israel's apartheid, about her personal journey to anti-Zionist organizing and empathy for others on their journey. Further, we discuss how Israel and American politicians’ line that only Israel can provide “safety for the Jews” does not make anyone, including Jewish people, safer.
