Day two of the Tyler Robinson preliminary hearing is done. Prosecutors showed surveillance footage tracking Robinson on the UVU campus four separate times on the day Charlie Kirk was shot, twice before the event, once during where he is seen running and jumping off the roof at 12:23 PM matching the timestamp of the shot, and once again later that night. They have him getting into his car, driving to Chick-fil-A, coming back, encountering Turning Point staff, returning to the roof, and fleeing. They also have DNA evidence and sniper elbow pads found at the position. Candace Owens says it is not him.

Five days before this evidence was presented, Candace told her audience that Tyler Robinson never set foot on the UVU campus, citing her sources, the same sources that gave her the Egyptian spy planes, the Mormons, and the people in maroon shirts. Now she has a new theory: she cannot identify his face in the grainy surveillance footage, but she can identify his height. She says the figure in the video appears to be six-foot-two or six-foot-three, and Tyler Robinson is not that tall. So the footage is too grainy to confirm it is him, but clear enough to measure him to the inch. And the maroon shirt conspiracy is back — she is now claiming the feds planted multiple Tyler Robinson lookalikes on campus that day and has offered to supply the footage to his defense team.

I break down every piece of evidence presented on day two, why Candace's 4K camera argument makes no sense, and why she has now crossed from conspiracy theorist into actively trying to help the man accused of killing her friend. This is what happens when a narrative becomes more important than the truth.
