Officials at the United States environmental protection agency finally admitted recently that yeah, when Donald Trump was president, we were essentially forced to alter scientific data to fit their agenda. Specifically, these individuals were talking about three pesticides that included Dicamba. Now, if you're not familiar with Dicamba, I do encourage you, go ahead and do a search through our YouTube channel here for the word Dicamba. We have done multiple segments on it. It is a horribly toxic pesticide linked to all sorts of cancers in human beings, and the thing should be banned. And that was effectively what the EPA had said in their data. They said Dicamba is not safe enough to use because of all of the health problems it causes in human beings.

But because the Trump administration wanted Dicamba approved for some reason, I don't even know. I mean, that's what drives me crazy about stories like this too, is there's not even a clear reason why Trump was like, oh hell no, we gotta have Dicamba. Okay. You're, you're, you're not in the pesticide industry. Like this isn't a thing that affects you financially. So why the hell are you pushing so hard for it? That makes no sense to me and I want answers on that and I'm sure there's answers out there. We just have to find them. But anyway, Trump says, nope, I want Dicamba. So the EPA scientists or officials had to go back and say, okay, well, we've got these reports, let's change this. Let's alter this. Let's delete this. This is what they've admitted to doing.

Let's do all of this because the man wants it done, because we have to get this deadly toxic pesticide out there in the United States, cancer be damned. We're going to do this. And they did. Now immediately upon taking office, Joe Biden did create the scientific integrity task force, that's actually how we know that this happened now, because that's their job. This little task force is meant to go through and make sure there's no politization, there is no, I guess, industry influence in decisions. Although we know there still will be. It's a good start and it's desperately needed, but the damage is being done already. The damage is already being done and the damage is going to continue to be done the next time a Republican takes over the White House, which might be in four years.

Science is not political. Data is data. Numbers are numbers and science is science. But here in the United States in a way that we truly don't see in the rest of the world, maybe Australia, they're pretty bad with it too, but we've actually politicized it. The rejection of science is a Republican fundamental at this point. Acceptance of science on issues like climate change, to a degree, it's Democratic one. Democrats are still a little torn on fracking, even though they shouldn't be, fracking should be banned outright. End of story, period. But this is where we are. And in the meantime, people are contracting these horrible cancers, some of them incurable and dying from them, because we as a country decided to politicize science.
